Named One of Halo Lab’s Top 20 Startups to Watch at Web Summit Qatar 2024

Ahead of the first-ever Web Summit Qatar in February 2024, design and development agency Halo Lab published its list of the top 20 startups to watch at the event. ModularCx was selected as one of only two companies featured in the e-commerce and retail category.

Why we were picked

Halo Lab pointed to how ModularCx changes the way people engage with the brands they love through 3D. The write-up called out three capabilities in particular: giving brands one place to organize and access thousands of 3D assets, building custom 3D product configurators, and designing full 3D e-commerce websites.

Their verdict on turning product features into virtual experiences was that the platform

“elevates customer interactions to new heights.”  Halo Lab

Being singled out from the hundreds of startups attending Web Summit Qatar was a strong signal that retailers in the Gulf and beyond are ready for richer online shopping.

Where we are today

Today, Modular is an AI innovation company. We build AI products that help businesses in retail, commerce and operations sell and work smarter, and we are expanding across the GCC, including Saudi Arabia. Much of that work grows directly out of the 3D and customer-experience foundations this recognition celebrated.

“Web Summit Qatar showed us how ready Gulf retailers are for richer online experiences. That conviction is a big part of why we’re investing in the region today.”  Alexander Chehab, Partner, Business Development MENA & GCC, Modular

The build log

One email when we publish.

Notes from inside the system — what shipped, what broke, what we learned. Roughly twice a month. No marketing, and one click to leave.

We use it for the build log and nothing else.
