Who we are
This website is run by MCX Limited, which trades as Modular (“Modular”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@modularcx.me.
Accepting these terms
By using this website you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. If you work with us on a project, a separate written agreement covers that work, and where it differs from these terms, that agreement applies.
What the site is for
The site tells you about Modular, ModularOS and our consulting and workshop services, and lets you contact us, join the ModularOS waitlist and subscribe to the build log. ModularOS and our other products are still being built. Anything we say about them describes our plans and what we are working towards, and it can change.
The waitlist
- Joining the waitlist is free and doesn’t commit you or us to anything.
- Your place in line is for information only. It doesn’t guarantee access, a launch date, a price or any particular terms.
- We may invite people in a different order, in groups, or not at all, depending on what suits each setup and how the product develops.
- You can ask us to remove you at any time.
Using the site
Please use the site lawfully and fairly. You must not:
- try to get into parts of the site or its systems that you aren’t meant to reach, or interfere with how they work;
- send us anything unlawful, harmful, misleading or that infringes someone else’s rights;
- use automated tools to collect data from the site, or to send us large numbers of messages or sign-ups;
- pretend to be another person or give false details in a form.
What you send us
When you send us a message or fill in a form, you let us use what you send to reply to you, to run the waitlist and to provide our services. Please don’t send passwords, financial details or other sensitive or confidential information through the site. Anything you share with us under a signed agreement, such as a non-disclosure agreement, is covered by that agreement.
Our content
The text, images, designs, logos, the Modular and ModularOS names and the software behind this site belong to MCX Limited or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the site and share links to it. You may not copy, sell or reuse our content, or use our names or logos, without our written permission.
Research and other websites
Some pages quote published research and statistics from other organisations, with their sources. Those figures are theirs, not ours, and we don’t guarantee them. The site also links to other websites, such as a booking calendar and social media. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for what they contain or how they handle your data.
No advice
The site and the blog are general information. They are not legal, financial or other professional advice, and you should not rely on them as a substitute for advice about your own situation.
Availability and changes
We try to keep the site running and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We may change, pause or remove any part of it, or these terms, at any time. The date at the top shows when the terms were last updated, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and as far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that arise from your use of the site or from relying on its content, including indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or loss of data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where MCX Limited is incorporated, and any dispute about them will be dealt with by the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Contact
If you have a question about these terms, write to hello@modularcx.me.
